For most airlines, a broker is required to handle customs clearance and paperwork in advance. If a broker is needed, they will take care of the process and provide you with the exact time and location for picking up your puppy.

If your airline allows pickup without a broker, you’ll need to bring a copy of the pet passport to the customs office for stamping. Your puppy can still be in transit while you complete this step. Once cleared, you will take the stamped documents to the airline’s cargo facility to collect your puppy.
