On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, we couldn’t resist the temptation to share three lovely stories where the breed of our life, French Bulldog is involved.
Proposal with 15 Frenchies
Brooklyn resident Rob Micallef proposed to his girlfriend, Jessica with 15 Frenchies, her favorite breed. Before the big day, Rob contacted the host of a Meetup group “A Frenchie in Brooklyn,” Tiffany, who reached out to the group members for help.
On a cold winter day 15 group members turned up in Fort Greene Park, each with their pup wearing balloons, and as Rob and Jess were walking along the owners flipped over poster boards with the message: “Marry me, Jess.”
She said YES:)
George saves the day
Laura and James Russell wanted their Frenchie George to play a leading role in their wedding. When the best man, Craig was asked to hand over the ring, he pretended he had forgotten it and rushed out of the room.
At this moment the guests were shown a pre-recorded video of George the Frenchie being called via his mobile, getting appropriately dressed and rushing to the event with the ring.
Finally, Craig entered with George, and Laura and James (hopefully) live happily ever after.
Frenchie couple getting married
Groom Dexter and his bride Maya tied the knot at a beach at the romantic Chapel Rock in Marizon, Cornwall. The wedding was organized by their parents Clare and Phil, and their daughter Olivia.
It started as a joke, as everyone always said how cute couple the teo dogs were, and indeed they were faithful to each other, and Dexter would share his food only with Maya.
So finally the family decided to organize a little ceremony for them, officiated by celebrant Nick Battle (who usually takes funerals). He read a few poems and doggy vowels, and then Dexter kissed Maya.
Frenchies are sociable, lovely dogs, they get on well very easily with each other, other animals, and humans. They are happy to accompany you to events and family gatherings, and this is just one of the several reasons we love them.
